Divorced 2012-07-12 14:41:59After a stint in the Army and 21 months in Korea, I attended the University of Texas Arlington. I obtained a degree in accounting but have worked in software development for 35 years. I was married for 26 years to a wonderful lady but we divorced in 1999. I lived in the Denver, CO metro area from 1978 until 2004. I resettled in DFW area except for a short stint in MN. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. Enjoy your summer.

Married 5 2012-07-11 21:09:35Deceased Hi all-- Don't think I'll be able to attend the reunion. But a little info re me-self: went to UC Santa Barbara, got a degree I've never really used (Physical Education). Met my wife Gretchen there. Now married 36 years, happy. We were in a semi-communal Christian group there, in Isla Vista. Moved to Sonoma County in '73. Did my "post-graduate" education at the community college and became an RN. Had 5 kids, all fun, all challenges. 4 born at home. Home-schooled all 5 -- well, Gretchen did most of it. Have worked since 1974 at Sonoma Developmental Center, growing old with a lot of developmentally disabled folks. Still really love some of the music from the very special era, 1964 to 1972. Have been leading worship in churches since 1975, love it. And the most important message: I would really like to hear from a few of you I was really close to in high school. You know who you are.
All the best to all of you,
Committed Relationship 3 2012-08-06 13:28:46I have 3 children from 42 to 35 . more grandchildren than I can count, and my first great-grandchild on the way. Life has been a struggle, I have no claim to fame other than I have lived my life with love and joy. Have my youngest, MIchael who has HCD, a genetic disorder affecting the heart, and survives thanks to the box in his chest. His son, Alex just turned 11. He is our miracle. Wasn't supposed to live more than a few hours. Don't believe in miracles? Come talk to me. In his eleven years, he lost both kidneys, his liver and was diagnosed last year with Renal Cell Carcinoma in his transplanted only kidney. His genetic disorder is ARPKD. I suffer from a milder form. I tell people I attribute our genetic faults to the d#$% Scottish inbreeding of our ancestors!Alex just reinforced my lifes philosophy...money and fame mean absolutely nothing if you do not have love, joy and peace in your life. He has never looked upon himself as disabled, cursed or different. His compassion for others amazes those who come in contact with him. He has spent a great deal of his life at Lucille Salter Packards Children's Hospital at Stanford. Thank God for Dr. Oscar Salvatiera who gave us hope. Alex is not only our miracle, but has a purpose on this earth, and I know his life will make(and already has) a difference in many people's lives.
I am going to try to make it to the reunion. But if I don't, now have a site where I can keep in touch. I really didn't know too many of my classmates as was already married, had my daughter, Gina, and gave birth to my son, Patrick just a few days before I graduated in January. I missed alot of my youth, but would not change a thing if it would mean I would not have had my beautiful children.
The picture is with ny best friend of almost 30 years, Heather.

First of all what a great web site, you did an amazing job! I don't know if you remember me as I didn't graduate from WG. My dad was transferred back to NY in 1965 or '66 but I kept in touch with John Pfahnl and Kim (Keesling) Kain over the years. I was able to attend the 20th reunion and it was a blast. It was great to see everyone again after so many years.
To encapsulate 40 yrs in a paragraph:
Graduated from SUNY at New Paltz with a degree in Sociology (which I never used in any of my jobs)
Was married briefly in the 70's, no children
Had a 15 year career with IBM - was fortunate to travel a lot and visit other countries
Next 10 years in the Medical Administrative field
Currently in Education with the Palm Beach County School District - hoping to retire in a few yrs
Passions: the beach, my nephew, movies, travel, good food & wine (and it now shows, ugh!),
UFO's (no, I'm not a whacko, actually had a sighting , been studying the phenomena for 20 yrs),
photography, genealogy (found out I'm a descendent of Rebecca Nurse who was accused of being a witch in Salem, MA where I was born - my ex-husband says "that explains it").
Also enjoy reading and painting (when I find time).
Addictions: History and the Discovery channels, Haagen-Dazs coffee ice cream, any movie with George Clooney in it.
When I left IBM in 1988 I moved from Boca Raton to Boynton Beach where I've been for the last 20 years. I think about moving to New England when I retire because I complain about the heat in FL but love the beach so here I am.
I am so bummed I won't be able to attend this reunion. I would love to see all of you again but at least I can keep up on the web site. Can't wait to see the pictures! Speaking of that Nick R., I love your "now" picture, Maureen is one lucky lady!
Have a great time at the reunion and keep in touch.

Divorced 2012-09-13 22:07:20I'm alive, and living well on the plant. Don't know how my name got on the list of the dearly departed, but am in hopes that some others are well and with us, too.
I'm working in a lawfirm in San Francisco. Hope to retire, soon and move to Vermont, to be closer to family. In the meantime, I remain in my digs in Berkeley, close to my alma mater.
After graduating from U.C.Berkeley, I took some time off and worked at B.A.R.T, which motivated me to return to accademia. I attended Golden Gate University School of Law, where I received an excellent education. I passed the California State Bar on the first try, thank goodness. I began a general practice, which included civil and criminal trials and appeals. I peaked early wih a case of mine going to the California Supreme Court. Now, I am a trial attorney, practicing in Northern California.
I am the proud aunt of two lovely nieces and a handsome nephew, who is now the father of a darling two year old boy. I hope to be an aunt again, soon...
My partner of 17 years is a retired U.C. Berkeley lecturer. He is grandfather to three adorable grandchildren, who I consider my own family.
We travel extensively, whenever possible, and travel and art are my passions.
Hope to see you at the reunion!

Committed Relationship 2 2012-07-11 20:43:01Hi! It would be fun joining all of you at the reunion but unfortunately I will not be attending so let me BRIEFLY catch you up to speed on life after graduation. Highlighting some events in the past 40 years -- Barbara (Pedro) and I went to Hawaii in '69 and I had the time of my life. I've worked in the legal field since 1970; met my ex-husband in l972 and have two beautiful daughters, Tiffany and Crystal and I am grandma to Crystal's 2 year old daughter. I moved to Oregon in l980 and am currently living in Washington in the Portland-Vancouver area. My boyfriend of 8 years is a full-time musician and life is GOOD!
P.S. My boyfriend and I will be attending the Friday night mixer after all. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Don suggested I add the picture you see in the "THEN" photo slot. Can't say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. We are so grateful to the committee members for putting this together. Thanks to you all.
Single 2012-08-06 13:28:46Life after Willow Glen HS has been circuitous, often subterranean, difficult, fascinating, rich and undeniably blessed.
I'm wondering how come so many of my classmates are already retired? Are we that old or are you guys just blessed also?
I live in San Francisco and work on the peninsula for a big credit card company. I run the video group and have been there for over a dozen years.
