After leaving WGHS and eduring four years in college I worked for twenty some years in the music business as a recording engineer/producer. Made a lot of records you probably never heard of and even had one of them nominated for a Grammy.  Toured the world as a sound engineer and met my wife on one of those tours in the Soviet Union. Went back wrestled with the Soviet bureaucracy, got married there and got her out in three months, considered a record at the American Embassy.  Despite what the history books say, I believe it was my running rough shod over their petty bureaucrats that led to the downfall of the Soviet Union on the first anniversary of our marriage.
My wife is from the Ukraine and we visit there a lot, its one of my favorite places.
After we had our daughter I slowed down my traveling and we settled into living in Capitola. Started to work in the audio for video field, eventually got into editing and since 1996 have had my own post production company. In addition to commercials and documentaries we have posted a series for the Discovery Channels and we're in our fourth year of posting two series for Fox Sports Net.
My daughter is sixteen now. She's been homeschooled since kindergarten and has been taking classes at Cabrillo College since she was fourteen. She has a straight "A" average there.
When my wife isn't working with our daughter she does beautiful oil paintings.
The last few years I've started playing drums again and am currently playing in a Rock band. Just played the Catalyst, fullfilling one of my dreams.

Committed Relationship 2 2012-08-06 13:29:11
After graduating from SJSU with a degree in Math, I started working in S.F. for the Social Security Administration.  I got married, moved to Atlanta and worked in software design for a Fortune 100 corporation (NS Corp).  I have two great sons, Rob & Brian, and a 4 year old grandson - Dylan David Sanfilippo.  After the inevitable divorce, I've been in a committed relationship for 15 years with an accomplished event planner who has a grandson of his own.  I now live in Western North Carolina in the Smoky Mountains, loving the mild weather and still working in software design.  I'm working towards semi-retirement in the next couple of years when I plan to do a lot of traveling, which has been my main hobby for a long time.

I was married to Carmela Infantino (also WGHS class of 1968) until she passed away in 2016.   I have 2 grown sons with families of their own, and I enjoy being an empty-nester.  I have  3 grandchildren who are a joy of course, and one more on the way in June 2018.
After WG, I obtained a Masters degree in Industrial Psychology and worked in Silicon Valley and in San Francisco.  In 1987, I transferred with ROLM/IBM in Santa Clara to be site HR Director at their Austin, Texas facility and have enjoyed living in the Austin area ever since.  I have become a big University of Texas Longhorn fan, but still root for the SF 49ers.  I retired in 2011 having last worked at Emerson Process Management in Austin as Training & Development Manager.  For fun, I enjoy traveling, gardening, swimming, kayaking, family outings, music & playing guitar, and singing in my church choir

June 29, 1950 Married 4 2018-06-09 12:33:07
It’s hard to believe that it has been 50 years since we graduated. After graduation in 1969 my husband and I moved to Utah for his work. We lived there until 1975 and were transferred back to San Jose. While in Utah all four of our children were born, two boys and two girls. My husband ended up starting his own business in San Jose. I ran the office for him until we sold the business and moved to Oceanside Calif. in 1997. We now have eight grandchildren four boys and four girls. Our oldest is twenty four and just got her masters degree in New Zealand and our youngest is seven. I now spend my days enjoying our grandchildren’s dance recitals, soccer games, plays and marching band events. I also enjoy working in my garden and going to be beach.
Last year, 2017, Paul and I celebrated our 50th. wedding anniversary with our children and all eight of our grandchildren in Maui. We renewed our wedding vows there - it is a very special and beautiful memory.
Looking forward to being with friends in September

Life has been an interesting ride so far.  I worked as a professional musician/singer for several years with my husband (#1.)  Aafter he passed away in 1979, I went back to college and earnd a BSN in Nursing.  I worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse for about 30 years.  I have also been in a band for the past 23+ years.  Unfortunately, my bandmates are moving away, so the band will end.  I have one daughter (40 years old) from my first marriage.  I remarried in 1985 to a wonderful man who worked in mental health (perfect for me!), and then later became a teacher.  We had a wonderful life until he passed away, very suddenly, in 1994.
I am now retired and living in Campbell, Ca.  I love to travel whenever I can, play with fabric, paper, glue, etc.I crochet, make cards, and make jewelry.  I am also (finally) learning to cook.
I look forward to seeing my fellow classmates at the reunion.

I have filled my last 40 years with jobs in social services, mental health, the military and education while caring for nearly 300 foster teens and raising my son.  Currently, I am working on my dissertation, teaching special ed, doing union leadership and politial activism.  Not sure how to upload pictures, but I am still basically me - just rounder!

Married 2 2012-08-06 13:29:10
Family news: I married Walt in 1975, we moved to Scotts Valley and raised our two sons: Oliver (24) and Elliot (21). Oliver just returned to Scotts Valley after five years of living in So. California, first working on a ship, then driving a tow truck. Elliot started his own martial arts school (Elite Martial Arts Academy) in Scotts Valley when he was 19 and is moving into a larger space next month.

I graduated from San Jose State University, majoring in Business. I worked for State Farm Insurance Claims and didn’t like the corporate world. I worked in a law office and didn’t like the pressures in that firm. In 1975 my Dad made me an offer I couldn’t refuse, and I went back to his State Farm Office (where I had worked throughout my schooling) until he retired in 1989. I then worked for other State Farm Agents and obtained my Fire & Casualty and Life licenses. Again, too much pressure in the last office, and I found myself back in a law office, this time Walt’s (Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Small Business). Working for Walt has given me the flexibility to do what I really love, music. I’ve been playing the piano since very young, and I’ve enjoyed all the doors music has opened. In 1988 I converted to Catholicism and have been playing the piano in our church in Scotts Valley ever since. I also play in several other churches in Santa Cruz County and the Youth Mass at St. Mary’s in Los Gatos on Sunday evenings. I really like to play funerals as I witness the soothing effect of music on those gathered. I have recently become Music Coordinator at our church and am now juggling lots of balls!

It’s been great fun to gather with the Jam Band and make music together!
